I teach in my students' airplanes. Does that work?
Yes. Add a student's airplane as an external aircraft - it is bookable for lessons but does not count against your plan, gets no maintenance reminders, and lessons in it skip meter readings entirely. Only your instruction time bills.
How do students pay me?
Card payments go through Stripe Connect directly into your own Stripe account - Resyrv never holds your money. Students can also prepay blocks of hours, or report a Venmo/Zelle/cash payment that you approve.
Can I sign endorsements in Resyrv?
Yes. The endorsement library uses AC 61-65 language, records your CFI certificate details at signing, and keeps your FAR 61.189 record of every endorsement you give. Endorsements stay with the student permanently.
What happens when a student moves on?
Their logbook, endorsements, and training records belong to them. They can export the logbook to ForeFlight at any time, free - it is their flying record, not yours or ours.
Do I need the School plan?
No. The CFI plan includes the training module (syllabus, gradings, student records) and prepaid flight-hour packages at a solo-instructor price. Upgrade to School when you hire your second instructor and need multi-CFI operations.
How do prospective students find me?
Every workspace gets a shareable public booking link for intro-lesson requests. Put it in your email signature, business card QR code, or social bio - inquiries land in your queue with the prospect's contact details and preferred times.
