Binders full of pilot records at the front desk
Every renter's medical, BFR, insurance, check-out, and endorsements live on their profile. The system blocks bookings for anyone who has fallen out of currency or let an endorsement lapse.
+For rental operators
Resyrv is the operations layer for a rental fleet. Renters book themselves, endorsements and currency are tracked at the pilot level, and wet/dry billing posts automatically against the fuel price you set.
+What you're stuck with today
Every renter's medical, BFR, insurance, check-out, and endorsements live on their profile. The system blocks bookings for anyone who has fallen out of currency or let an endorsement lapse.
Set your house fuel price once. Wet and dry rates apply automatically. Renters see the per-flight cost breakdown before they leave the ramp.
Pre- and post-flight inspections captured from the renter's phone, tied to the reservation. A&P sees new squawks immediately; aircraft is grounded automatically if needed.
Block-hour packages and prepaid credits tracked per renter. Balances visible to both the renter and the operator; blocks draw down automatically as flights are logged.
+What Resyrv gives you instead
Configure required items per aircraft and per renter tier. Bookings are blocked when a required item is expired.
Set the fuel rate once for the operation. Wet, dry, and hourly-flat billing all supported, and the mode switches per aircraft.
Renters complete the check list from their phone. Damage or squawks post to the aircraft record immediately.
Sell discounted block hours or prepaid credits. Balances and expirations visible to everyone involved.
+How it works day to day
Self-service booking, automatic check-out verification, and billing that posts itself.
Renters book within the tier rules you set, no front-desk phone call required.
Endorsements, currency, and insurance are checked before a booking confirms.
Renters complete inspections from their phone; any squawk posts to the aircraft record instantly.
The fuel price you set is applied automatically, and the renter sees the breakdown.
Hours, revenue, and maintenance spend per tail stay visible in one dashboard.
+What to look for
A rental operation is a flight school without the syllabus and a flying club without the governance. What is left is the part both of those tend to do worst: strangers flying your airplanes, paying by the hour, with a fuel bill in the middle. The software has to make the renter safe to dispatch, make the bill right the first time, and know when the airplane cannot go.
Five things to check before you buy, in the order they cost an operator money.
Check-out, endorsements, medical, flight review, and renter insurance should be tracked per pilot and enforced at the moment they try to book. Discovering a lapsed check-out at the counter costs the slot. Discovering it on the phone a week earlier costs nothing. Resyrv blocks the reservation and emails the renter with time to fix it.
The house fuel price should be set once and flow into every wet rate, dry-lease return, and pilot fuel reimbursement automatically. If changing the fuel price means editing a spreadsheet and hoping every rate got updated, the first month after a price move is a reconciliation project. Resyrv applies the house price per aircraft fuel mode at return.
Pre-flight and post-flight checks completed from the renter's phone, tied to the reservation, are the only reliable way to know which renter had the airplane when the wingtip got scraped. A squawk should post to the aircraft record immediately and, if it matters, ground the aircraft before the next renter shows up.
Discounted blocks are how rental operations lock in revenue, and a block tracked on a sticky note is how they lose it. Balances should be visible to the renter and the operator, draw down as flights are logged, and expire on the terms you set.
Hours, revenue, and maintenance spend per aircraft is the report that tells an operator which airplane is earning and which one is a hobby. The software should show that without an export. Resyrv keeps it on the dashboard.
Scheduling-only tools handle the calendar and leave the renter file, the fuel math, and the block balances to the front desk. That works until the front desk is one person on a Saturday with three renters waiting.
What you get

Yes. Rental operations have renters, not students: no syllabus, no stage checks, no payroll for instructors. Resyrv's rental-operator defaults focus on check-outs, endorsements, wet/dry billing, and fleet utilization.
Renters see the fleet calendar, pick a slot that fits the rules you've set (tier-based lead time, max reservation, etc.), and the booking is confirmed instantly. No phone call required.
Yes. Configure block packages (for example, 10-hour or 25-hour blocks) with optional discounts. Balances draw down automatically as flights are logged.
You set one house fuel price for the operation, and each aircraft picks its fuel mode: wet, dry, or dry with pilot reimbursement. Dry-lease returns bill fuel at the house price using the aircraft's burn rate and the hours flown, and pilot fuel purchases are reimbursed up to the cap you set.
Yes. One workspace can host rental, school, and club operations side-by-side, with separate cost rules, member tiers, and billing per program.
Plane rental software. Resyrv runs the rental operation: renter check-outs and currency, self-service booking, wet and dry billing, damage reports, block hours, and maintenance status that grounds an aircraft. It does not sell fuel, run a ramp, or manage shop inventory. An FBO that also rents aircraft uses Resyrv for the rental side and keeps its fuel and ramp system for the rest.
Yes. Renters see their balance and pay by card, ACH, or Cash App Pay through Stripe, or through an existing Authorize.net gateway. Charges post at return, and every payment lands on the renter's ledger with the flight it settled.
