Course Minimums and Required Hours

Set the required hours one time on the program. Then the record of each student shows a grid of their flights compared with these hours.

Set minimums

Open the program in Training, then Programs. Then open its Requirements section. Hour minimums has one number for each category: total flight time, dual, solo, cross-country, night, simulator, ground, and landings. You can set them for the full course and, if you want, for each stage. To set no minimum, leave the field empty. After you save one time, Resyrv measures each student in the program against these minimums.

The course minimums grid

The profile of each student has a Course Minimums section under Requirements. Their My Training page also has this section. The grid shows each lesson in each stage down the side, and hour categories across the top.

At the bottom, stage totals and course totals show against the minimums. Green shows a requirement that is met, and amber shows hours that are not sufficient yet. Two bars are at the top of the grid: the number of lessons passed, and the progress toward the required hours.

Where the hours come from

The hours are the confirmed logbook entries of the student, matched to the lessons that they flew. The 8710 totals of the student use the same entries, so the course view and the logbook always agree. If the logbook entry for a flight is a draft, the flight does not count yet. The grid shows how many entries are drafts. To correct this, the student confirms the entry in their logbook.
