Resyrv on Your Phone

Resyrv runs in the browser of your phone, with the full app. The layout changes to fit the screen. On the ramp, you can book, dispatch, return, grade, and settle.

Open resyrv.com in the browser of your phone and sign in as usual. If you add it to your home screen, it opens like an app.

Navigation

• The top bar stays at the top when you scroll. The menu and your account are always one tap away.
• Pages with many views, for example maintenance, billing, training, and the store, put their section tabs into one orange switch button below the page title. Tap it to see the list of views.
• On busy lists, the filters are behind one Filters button, not in a row of controls that goes off the screen.
• Cards go near to the edges of the screen, so a line of text or a meter reading fits on the line.
• On a phone, dashboard stat blocks move below the content, so the important content is at the top.

The schedule

The phone schedule shows Now & Next first: the aircraft in the air and the next flights. The agenda for the day is below. When a person checks in an aircraft, it goes out of "airborne" immediately. It does not wait for the end time of its booking. Thus the fleet count on your phone is correct.

To filter a large fleet to one aircraft group or to the aircraft that you work with, tap the Filters button next to the date. This works the same as on a computer. When a filter is on, the button shows a number.

Book from a phone

Tap to start a booking. A sheet opens from the bottom. It asks what you book and who it is for, the aircraft, and the times. Then a review step shows the price of the reservation before you confirm it. If you select a dual lesson, the instructor picker shows with the other fields. It lists the instructors that you can book at that location, and it marks the instructors who are already busy.

Dates and times open the picker of your phone, not a set of small boxes. Times always show the local time of the field, whatever the setting of your phone.

Staff who book a training lesson on the phone sheet can attach the enrollment and syllabus lesson of the student, the same as on a computer. Thus a lesson that you book on the ramp still counts toward the progress of the student. It is also available for grading.

Dispatch and return on the ramp

Dispatch and return have the full process on a phone. This includes the same readiness checks, meter verification, meter-discrepancy reports, fuel and oil, signature PINs, and the instructor acknowledgement at return. The sheet asks for all the data that the desktop dialog asks for. The billing preview shows the same numbers.

The text fields in these sheets are large enough, so an iPhone does not zoom and pan the page when you tap a field.

Lists show as cards

Where a computer shows a table, a phone shows cards that are easy to read. You do not scroll a table sideways. This applies to members, aircraft, maintenance items, work orders, training classes, enrollments, grading records, and expenses. The information is the same, but it is stacked.

Training on a phone

Training Operations, student records, pace, and grading all show correctly on a phone. The My Training page of a student shows their stage, their next lesson, and their full plan. The progress bars do not crowd the text.
